On Saturday, November 25, 2017, we held a "Chocolate Advent Calendar" workshop at Niko no Ouchi in Futako-Tamagawa.

Despite the cold weather, 14 children and their families gathered and enjoyed creating their own unique advent calendars, each designed freely.

With no less than 10 different flavors to choose from, they enjoyed the process of deliberating over which ones to pick, consulting with their parents, and then carefully placing each chocolate into 24 colorful pockets. They then freely decided on the shape of their calendar and enjoyed pasting the pockets on.

The countdown to Christmas begins on December 1st. We heard a few comments like, "I can't wait that long!" and "One chocolate a day isn't enough!" We hope you have a wonderful December with delicious chocolates.
