The product we developed in collaboration with Maruyama Foods, who process Kishu Nanko Ume in Wakayama Prefecture, one of Japan's leading ume-producing regions, went on sale today at 10:00 AM on the Makuake website.
Umeboshi and chocolate!? At first, I spent days pondering how to make it a reality. After many twists and turns, we finally saw hope in combining it with bark chocolate, which is our specialty, and it turned out incredibly delicious.
Working together on this project, I learned a great deal about the current situation and challenges facing the umeboshi industry. I am honored to be able to convey something new like this collaboration to everyone.
